Beta readers provide a "reader's eye-view" for your work. They give feedback on general readability, theme and character consistency, and catch any plot-holes.

Step 3. Grammar & Proofreading
This addresses any spelling errors, punctuation mishaps, and grammatical oopsies. It takes a special set of eyes to catch them all!

Step 4. Manuscript Formatting
This makes your book look like a book! Including chapter headings, page numbers, & a table of contents. Keep in mind-- formatting for print and formatting for ebook are different!
You'll also need an ISBN at this stage-- they get complicated. We've got them figured out, though.

Step 5. Book Cover Art
This is where your vision comes to life! Font choice, style, theme, colors! Find an artist that will make something people can't pass by.
Step 6. Book Cover Formatting
Another book cover thing-- yes, but it's different!
This takes dimensions, bleed, and spine width based on your manuscript's page number. This also includes making space for a blurb and barcode on the back cover.

Step 7. Promos and Marketing
Your book is ready to launch... but if no one knows about it, they won't read it! Get some static or animated photo promos to get started.
